The Last of Us Part II Remastered release date officially announced, what's new in the remaster?

The Last of Us Part II Remastered official trailer was recently released, which showed a lot of interesting things and also announced the game release date - January 19, 2024. In addition to the trailer, Naughty Dog published a post on their website, in which they described the innovation for the remaster. Probably, the announcement was originally planned for The Game Awards 2023 on December 7, but due to yesterday's leak, they decided to announce the game now.

The technical part:

As is often the case on PlayStation 5, there are two graphics modes: Fidelity - native 4k and Performance - QHD scaled to 4k.
If your TV supports VRR, there's an option to unlock fps.
Load times are also claimed to be faster and improved feedback for DualSense has been added.

What will be added to the game:

Added skins on weapons and clothing - the trailer for example shows Ellie in an astronaut costume.
Lost levels - it will be possible to look at locations cut from the game.
Free guitar play - in the original game it was possible to play guitar only in some story moments, probably now it will be possible to enter the mini guitar game directly from the game menu, and you will be able to choose a character and a location.
And also a new roguelike mode “No Return” - what exactly this mode will be is not clear yet, "...mode called No Return, a roguelike survival mode designed to let players prove their mettle in randomized encounters and experience The Last of Us Part II’s combat in a fresh experience." - Jonathon Dornbush

Also announced was The Last of Us Pat 2 Remastered W.L.F. Edition, which will only be available to buy via PlayStation Direct in the US, UK, Germany, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Austria, which will contain, in addition to the main game:
SteelBook, 4 enamel badges, Washington Liberation Front patch, 47 trading cards of the Society of Champions, 8 of which are holographic (they acted as collectibles in the game).

If you already own The Last of Us Part II, you can upgrade to the remaster for $10.
Pre-orders will be available starting December 5.
While the game has only been announced for PlayStation 5 so far, it's very likely that the game will also be released on PC at a later date (as happened with The Last of Us Part I).
